Albuquerque Homeschool Forum  /  Swap meet  /  My dog needs a new home

I have a medium sized gold colored dog, her name is "Honey".
She is very sweet, great with the kids, current on shots, fixed, and she needs a new home.
Wow, this is really hard for me to do.
Anyway, we have another dog, and he's male with aggression issues that are requiring our time, attention, and money.
Because of that we need to find Honey a new home.
If you are interested, let me know and I can send pictures, or you can come by and see her.
She's a love, and we would love to see her find a great new home.
Thanks, Amber

Oh, Amber, I'm so sorry you have to give up your dog.  Unfortunately, I can't take it because we rent and have 3 old and cranky, dog hating cats, but I'm sure you'll find someone who will love Honey very much.

I am sure hoping so.  I am so hating having to do this, but if I knew she was in a happy home, that would make it so much better.

we're moving to the westside in 4 weeks . . . we've totally been talking about adding to the family   :D

Yes, definitely look forward to talking about Honey and meeting her, too, if you are able to have her stay a month (and a additional few weeks so we can get settled-in and make it more comfortable for her) longer than you may have anticipated . . .

For her to go home with you, I am totally willing to wait.
Feel free to come by and see her before/during/or after you move in.
Hope the move goes well, and welcome to the West side.

Hi Amber!  Gal, I have an update, finally!   Everything's been so up in the air . . . so this is the soonest I could relay this to you with 100% confidence.

So, the scoop is that we're not moving into our new home until Feb. or March of 2009 . . . it's a 100%-recovery plan until then . . .
What these means, of course, is that we won't be a good home option for Honey.

I'm so sorry to have a change in plans that affects you guys and I send lots of love to Honey and your family as your locate a home for your sweetie   :K)
My sincere apologies that we can not provide all she needs right now (it is such a transitional time for our fam at the moment . . .)

When I responded earlier, the situation was so different . . . I'm sorry if I have costed you time, dear friend.   Sending you my adoration and apologies . . .

Hi Carissa, sorry to hear you won't be joining us west siders as soon as you had planned.  No worries, these things happen.
Alexis, I sent you pictures.
Thanks ladies, I hope we'll soon have Honey in a new loving home.
Amber
