The hand built pottery classes are beginning this coming Fri 1-3PM. The adult classes are Sat.
The children's classes are ages 5-13, younger if you have more than one child and don't know what to do with the little one. :)
I need pre-registration for RSVP, as we only have room for 4 at a time.

Hi red46! :D
Wow, this sounds really cool!
We'd like to know more . . . we have 2 kids interested in this (including the very-craft-oriented younger sister who is 3).
Where will this be located and what is the cost?
Please go ahead and consider us an RSVP :D

My Haley would like to take the class, I am wondering if I can purchase some clay from you for the twins to putter with? I will be bringing them along, we can do some reading and things if its too much trouble
Thank you!~ I have been trying to find something that interests her and she was excited about this!~

We are interested in this class. I was not sure if this session has all ready been closed. If there is still room, I have 2 children that would be interested. We would like to also know that location and cost.
Thanks!

For those still interested in the pottery classes: we will resume classes as soon as our new load of chicks, give us back our work space. :) They should be out in a couple weeks. I'll keep everyone posted.

I forgot to mention that one day, this summer, we'll all get together and I'll show you where to find clay in the Rio Grande. On those days, mom or dad needs to go along too. :) Maybe a picnic?

OK...I saw the questions. It's in Corrales. Actually on something they call Hollywood Blvd. which is funny because it's practically a dirt alley. ha I've been laughing about that ever since we moved here.
The beginners classes are simple and direct and only costs $50. It's a hand building class and each student will go home with a finished product. The classes usually run 3 sessions, with at least 2 days between. I've always thought it best to do one session a week because it's easier for home school moms to work in a corriculum on a weekly basis.
I'll let everyone know when we're gearing up again.

Classes, themselves, got side tracked for the time being. I'm raising 110 baby chickens, and now have added baby ducks. The aread we use for the classes, has been taken over with brooders for the babies. So I'm having to wait until they are all big enough to clean up after them and resume life. :)
I'd say about another 2-3 weeks and we can get back to business as usual. I'll let everyone know.
