Home Depot & Lowe's KID Workshops
On the
first Saturday of each month,
Home Depot offers the same sort of workshop between 9 a.m. and noon. (It only lasts that long if there's enough interest.)
These are free programs and great for both genders. Free aprons and eye protection are usually included and available for take-home. Certificates are personalized and offered at the end for successful completion of the project. Lowe's gives a patch and a sticker. Home Depot gives a pin for clothing. These are fun to collect and/or scrapbook. Take your camera . . . it's a hoot! Take advantage of it!
On the
second Saturday of each month,
Lowe's hosts a building workshop for children, free of charge. I believe it starts at 10 a.m. and lasts one-hour.

PLEASE SEND THIS ON TO YOUR FRIENDS: WE NEED YOUR HELP
We care and we are playing our part
Dear Friends,
The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Players Association will be a hosting a free concert and rally at the Civic Plaza Monday, September 28th at 12:15pm. We need as many people as possible to attend the event. The Symphony was built by the community and belongs to the community.
The NMSO management's decision to cancel upcoming concerts and present a NMSO pops concert without the orchestra is not the answer. The NMSO musicians believe that it is crucial for the orchestra to continue to perform for the community during their contract negotiations. Your support will send a message to our community leaders and the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra management that we must preserve the symphony.
LET THE MUSIC SPEAK
SYMPHONY CONCERT
NEW MEXICO SYMPHONY PLAYERS ASSOCIATION
Conductor David Felberg

Where: Downtown Civic Plaza
Harry E. Kenney Civic Plaza

A special thanks to Commissioner Maggie Hart-Stebbins who worked with the city of Albuquerque to make this event happen.
See you there!!
Sincerely,
Your New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Players Association
