The NM Commission on the Status of Women's NM Girls Institute (www.nmgirlsinstitute.org) is offering a FREE one-day conference for area middle school girls (6th, 7th, 8th grades) on Friday, March 19, 2010 at UNM Valencia Campus in Los Lunas.

This one-day conference will be a day of promoting self-esteem, developing goals and maintaining healthy relationships.

Registration begins January 20, 2010 and is open to the FIRST 100 GIRLS WHO REGISTER and their adult chaperones (1 adult is required to attend with every group of 10 or less girls).  A breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided free of charge.

Registration deadline is March 10, 2010.
