I'm a young wife/mommy that loves the Lord.  I've been doing workbooks with my daughter since she was little, but just last month we kicked it into high gear and we are now officially "homeschooling".  She turned 5 in November.  I also have a 2 year old son and 4 month old daughter.  I'd like to get more involved in a group and I LOVE field trips to places like factories and restaurants:o)  We are doing KONOS and my kids love hands on stuff.
Hope to meet some of you guys soon!

Hi Joy! There are plenty of things to do with this group... just check the posts. I have heard about Konos, it is supposed to be good. I hope that you enjoy homeschooling, and that we get to meet you face to face soon. The park day is always great for that, but with the weather today..... Anyways welcome.

Hi Joy,

It's great to meet you.    Avannah turned 5 in December, so she's really close in age to your little girl.

Hope to see you soon at one of the activities.

Hi Joy, nice to meet you here.  My youngest son will be 2 years old  in 3 months.  He would enjoy playing with your son.  Hope to meet you in person sometime soon!

Hi Joy,

Welcome to homeschooling :-) If you join the coop (you need to attend an event and get to know some people first), there are many opportunities that moms put together for field trips, etc. The park day is the weekly opportunity for meeting some people, although I don't know it's status tomorrow due to the weather. There are many different approaches to homeschooling represented by people in the coop! It's fun to see what other people are doing :-)

Looking forward to meeting you.

I'm not sure if anyone will be at the park this afternoon, but I look forward to meeting you soon.

I have been meaning to try to make it to the park on park days, however, I have committed the blunder of 'wanting to' for too long and now I don't remember where the park day is held.  I know it's on Thursdays, but what time and where?  If someone could help out this 'overachiever' I would be greatful.  ~Elizabeth :B

While it's still cold, we meet at 1pm at Loma Del Norte Park.  When it starts to warm up, we'll meet at 10am at the same park.  I think that switch typically happens in May.

Here is a link with all the information.
