Pennywhistle not your thing? Maybe you'd enjoy a challenging board game instead?  Nine Men Morris is a ancient game played throughout Europe, northern Africa and western Asia.  Something like a cross between checkers and chess, Nine Men Morris is a game that is easy to learn, yet offering challenging strategies as players improve their skills.

Medieval LIving will be offering an Introduction to Nine Men Morris on June 8th at the Cherry Hills Library.  Class starts at 10:30 am and runs through noon.  We will have game boards for everyone to take home so that you can share the game with family and friends.

Contact scott@medieval-living.com if you're interested in joining in on the fun.

Also, please, visit our website and blog (I add new articles to the blog several times each week, so stop by and see what's new!!!)

Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun.    That's a Sunday though and we'll be at Church at that time.    We'd be interested if you offer it again.

Just a quick reminder . . . the Nine Men Morris class is June 8th at 10:30 am at the Cherry Hills Library.    I am also wanting to start a regular gaming time for both Nine Men Morris and Chess on the west side of Albuquerque - anyone interested in meeting at the Cottonwood Barnes and Noble around 10:30 am every Monday please send me an email or respond on our website.
