Home school Music Classes WINTER-SPRING 2011

Dates: Session 1: WEDNESDAYS, JANUARY 10-through FEBRUARY 16, 2011  
     Session 2: WEDNESDAYS, MARCH 30 - through MAY 18

Time: 10 - 11:30 (AGES 4-10, or 3:30 to 5:00 (ages 7 to 12)

Where: 705 Florida SE, Albuquerque

Instructor: Helga Kuster

Materials needed: a recorder (also called block flute or German flute) for 8 yrs and over and song flute or tonettes for children under 8.

The goal of the class is to learn basic music fundamentals by
exploring the piano keyboard,
exploring their voices,
performing basic rhythm and tonal patterns with voices and instruments,
singing simple songs and rounds,
playing simple songs and rhythms on flutes and percussion instruments,
and playing music games.  

The students will demonstrate their skill and understanding by performing in a closing program.

Fees:
One child: $6.00 per class (12 lessons $72).

Two children in a family: $9.00 (12 lessons $108 ).

Three children in a family: $14.00 (12 lessons $168 ).
