Their motto:  "We help readers, of all ages, better enjoy reading with $4 colored overlays
that reduce the high-contrast of white pages with black print.
(Sometimes these overlays help readers overcome severe reading problems,
headaches, migraines, depth perception and other visual/perceptual issues.)
When you try the overlays, you'll be surprised how much more comfortable
it is to read when a page is NOT stark-white . . . instead, a color your brain enoys & associates with."

when you read the words under this particular overlay color, is it more comfortable?

MOST people benefit greatly when using a colored-overlay (every color is available) to tone-down the typical high-contrast white page w/black print:

The sample distortions the overlays work with are fascinating:            http://irlen.com/distortioneffects.php
Could it be that anyone we know experiences this?

Even many *good readers* get headaches and fatigued eyes
. . . reading against a gentle-blue background (color therapy), how much more soothing to the brain/eyes would that be?
