For doctor-prescribed and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, herbal supplements, and pet medications:

    Remove medications from original containers, including foil packs, and place in resealable bag.
    Call the Metropolitan Forensic Science Center to ensure staff availability at 823-4200.
    Take to the Metropolitan Forensic Science Center on Thursdays, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., at 5350 2nd Street NW.

Do NOT put medicines down the sink or toilet--they contaminate our water supply.
