Albuquerque Homeschool Forum / Homeschool chat / a store called "Delites"?

Hello! I need to purchase something that can cut tags (gift tags etc.) and die cuts out of a vinyl. I was in Hobby Lobby and a customer told me there was a place in ABQ called Delites that had equipment that would do that. I do not live in ABQ, so I came home and tried to do a search on the internet to find this "Delites" store, and I can't find it. She said that it was mostly a store for teachers....but open to the public. I am hoping that someone on here might know where it is? Or, if they have any other idea about where I can find a diecut cutter for this kind of material? Thanks so much! Amy

It is part of APS (Alb Public Schools) It is the graphics dept. And it is down at the APS complex near Lead/Coal & I-25. It is a great resource and they have all kinds of materials and die cuts and laminaters, etc, as well as just about anything a classroom teacher would need. They have some great art supplies as well. I have found thier die cuts to sometimes be dull and I don't know if they would cut vinyl very well, but maybe. The phone number is 848-8760. I have found them invaluable for laminating large things like posters, etc. And they have great stuff for prize boxes. Be warned, they do not allow children so leave them home!! Use of all of the die cuts is free if you bring your own paper or cardstock. Or you can purchase materials there.
