Albuquerque Homeschool Forum  /  Homeschool chat  /  Members section?

I was just reading around the boards and realized that there is a members only area that apparently I can't access? Is there any reason why I can't access it? I have been a member of this board for several years, and while I don't go to the park day (it is too far for me, I live in northern RR) I used to attend the Rio Rancho park day before it folded. I feel like I have been left high and dry by the homeschooling community here in ABQ (moved away 2 years ago, now I'm back and the west side homeschoolers seem to have scattered). To think now that I am missing possible opportunities on a "member side" of this board is disappointing.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

Hi Cindy - I'll forward this to the moderators/admin so that they're sure to see your post ASAP.  Happy 4th of July to you & yours!

Hi, Cindy.

Yes, there is a members only part of the board. When you moved, you were probably removed from the members boards at that time. We've given you access to them again, but just as a gentle reminder, in order to maintain access you must post no less than every three months. This helps to create a safe feeling environment for all members, because everyone is known.

We are switching up how park day works. We'll be rotating to a new park about once a month so that we can all experience new places and so that those who live further away don't have such a far drive. Please look at the thread in the Members Boards and chime in if you like.

Oh, and so that we can add you to the member directory, please fill out step 3 of this form: http://www.abqhomeschool.com/join.html

Welcome back!

Thank you so much, Dannie and Carissa! I will fill out the form and then check out the details about park day. I totally understand being removed after I moved away:)
