Hi! My family has just moved here to Albuquerque from Pt. Huron, MI because my husband's job was transferred. We have four boys, all special needs. Three are adopted, Alex, age 19 (on paper, figure more like age 8 - 12, depending on situation), was adopted at age 2. He has fetal alcohol syndrome, developmental disabilities, and is on the autism spectrum. Melvin & Maurice, 11 year old twins, adopted at age 8. Both have some mental retardation, Maurice functioning quite a bit younger than Melvin. Ian is my stepson, he's lived with us since he was age 6, and has reactive attachment disorder, bipolar and ODD. We are Independant Baptists and we are relaxed/unschoolers. It's my plan that we will try to attend your park day next week September 6. We hope to find friends here.  :)
