Hello all! Let me introduce our homeschooling family...My name is Meg and my husband's name is Kurt, our son's name is Kolten. We live in Rio Rancho, more specifically Northern Meadows. We look forward to meeting other families in the area as well as in Albuquerque. Kolten attended Rio Rancho Middle School last year and Cielo Azul Elementary before that. We decided to homeschool Kolten this year thru the NM K12 Virtual Academy and are very excited to begin! Kolten is in the seventh grade and is an amazing young man. He is very sociallly inclined and while nervous, is looking forward to meeting other kids his age who are also homeschooled! We as his parents became frustrated with the public school system and felt strongly that Kolten was slipping thru the cracks, we just aren't willing to let that happen!! So....here we are....excited and open to learning! This is such a great way to meet others who are also working hard to make sure their kids recieve the best education possible!! Thanks all!
