:)  Hi everyone,  We are new to the homeschool scene, and don't know anyone, so we are feeling a little awkward gettin out there, and meeting new people.  My Daughter is quite shy and quiet, she is 12.  Are there any moms that will be at the park this thursay with daughters around the same age, that might be willing to take Sarah under their wings, and make her feel comfortable?  Plus are any of you in our area?.  We live near Academy, between Wyoming and San Mateo.  What is the park 4 this week??

Hi Melissa! I'm sorry for not responding sooner! We have members from all over the area, including the East Mountains and Rio Rancho. Please come to a park day! We can introduce your daughter to our girls. Or if nothing else, she is welcome to sit by your side until she feels more comfortable. My 6 year old does that and she has been part of the group since she was born. :) There is a lot of activity on the private forum, so if you come to a park day, you can join the group, have access and start getting to know people.
