The UNM Department of Orthopaedics invites junior and senior high school girls who are interested in learning more about careers in orthopaedic surgery and engineering to a free event on campus Saturday, March 2. Girls will get hands-on experience using surgical tools and instruments and the chance to talk to women surgeons, engineers, medical students, and residents about the challenges and rewards of working in medicine and engineering.
