Homeschoolers have access to many free and fee-based classes to
supplement their homeschool education.
Some may work for individual families,
others are most appropriate for homeschool groups, school groups, scouting troops, and so on.

Summer homeschool classes
NM Museum of Natural History. For the 2006 summer season,
the museum is offering classes especially for homeschoolers, including
prairie dog biology and research, wild mustang week (with horseback riding and
overnight camping), fossil hunting, and more.

Tour and a lesson on the history of chocolate for ages 5
and up. The children get to dip pretzels in
chocolate. There is a camera shop next door (TJ's) that
also does tours. Sometimes half the group goes to one
